This was our fifth year renting “our house” for the Newport Seafood & Wine Festival! We love this house and have so many wonderful memories. This was our first  year where we were greeted with snow upon arrival but that made it even more beautiful! Until next year…!

For the past several years, we have rented a “house at the beach” for the week of Christmas vacation. Found this house on VRBO. House has great floor plan. We loved to have the great living room, where everyone would so their thing and choose to either be apart or together. Plenty of great meals, view, grass lawn whale watching. Trips to the beach, shopping in Lincoln City. Hope to be back next years!

We loved the view and the chance to relax as an extended family.

Thanks for the great weekend. Everyone had their own bedroom and space. Plenty of games, talking, eating, tealking and eating. Everything in great shape!

We had a great time! We cooked too much, ate too much, and played too much. The weather was great and the view fantastic. What a wonderful venue for scattered family to gather. Oh the stories that we told of the times long ago brought tears and laughter. We walked the beach everyday. We are already planning our next trip to A Gathering Place!
